honeymooners

location: oahu, hawaii

transportation: ford focus. in royal blue. how regal.
lodging: sweet one-bedroom condo on the north shore. with a beautiful view and a beach.

favorite food: local shrimp trucks. lemon pepper, lemon butter, butter garlic, garlic scampi...mmmmmmm..
and look, we found a noni fruit tree! we couldn't not take a picture...afterall, noni is was brought us together. :)

we visited the temple and steve took some awesomely nice pics. he so talented. we also visited the visitor's center at the temple and watched some pretty touching videos...i'm seriously considering joining that mormon church. for real though, how can people go in there and not come out convinced that it all makes so much sense?

we went on a very muddy, muddy hike. only to discover half-way through we had to turn around and go back because we were suppose to check out of our place earlier that morning. oops. we got back to the condo and the cleaning ladies were already there and all our stuff was just shoved into plastic bags. haha. that poor lady who had to go through all our ish. you can imagine, i'm sure, all the good stuff she found. :)

nevertheless the hike did have some nice views of the island. sorry for the glare from my white legs/short shorts combo.

unfortunately it rained a ton while we were there, but there were a few days that the sun came out and we got to play on the beach. i heart the ocean. look, a rainbow! purdy.

ah, hawaii is so beautiful. thank you steve for taking me to such a lovely place and for planning everything out. loved it. love you. i am truly grateful. and lucky. very, very lucky.

then we came home to this...wahh.

best day. ever.

seriously. i am in love with my wedding day. i wish i could rewind and play it back. again and again. it was perfect from start to finish. the early morning eggs benedict made by cass. driving to the temple with steve. seeing our friends and family. being sealed to my love. steve holding my sweaty hand all day. steve's face when he saw me in my wedding dress for the first time. walking out of the temple. hugging and loving everyone. my smokin' hot husband. the reception. the dancing. the iverson tribute. driving away...and then...stopping at mcdonalds... :)

but the best part...sharing it with steve. he is my one.

i love you, steve. ALOT.
