le bebe shower

is there a better way to celebrate a coming baby than in true french style? i think not. my sweet friend jennifer and i backpacked through europe a few years ago...and so of course she thought up this brilliant and adorable french-themed baby shower for me. i loved all the detail and thought she put into it. she and her friend laura were the masterminds behind this event. laura took all these amazing photos and climbed through a tiny, spider-webby window in the basement after we accidently locked ourselves out at the end of the party.

a simple thank you seems not enough.

i started working from home this week. yay! and rumbi couldn't be happier.

although it is hard to type and cuddle with a puppy at the same time.

poor rums, little does he know that in a just a short time another little "being" will be snuggling up with me. cutting back his cuddle time even more.

and for me...

a new book to read for my upcoming stay at home lifestyle

a cozy sweater to dress up the yoga pants that i will soon be living in

some new black boots for when the swelling goes down.
i should be rewarded after wearing uggs day after day after day, right?

and a little bow ring for my newly too-chubby-for-my-wedding-ring finger

dear santa

if baby girl was already here i know exactly what she would be putting on her christmas list..

i never really imagined how fun it could be to shop for a mini-me.
can you even stand those tiny fur boots?!

steve sent me an email this afternoon with a link to this little video.. in the text he said...
"you love this kind of crap."

he's right. i totally do! maybe its the "soon-to-be-mommy" coming out in me but i can't help myself. i've already watched it 5 times.

i miss my puppy. i can't wait to be home with him and the bebe in just a few short weeks!

this year i was a "fallen" angel.

steve, against his will, photoshopped a picture of himself with devil horns and an evil mustache.

i wore that with a sign that said "the devil made me do it."

i thought it was pretty clever.

3 movies every "to-be" parent should watch.

not necessarily for advice on babies...but still..

i plan to watch each of these at least once in the next 2.5 months.
