easters

baby girl is growing so fast! she now "talks" constantly and i love it. she also is starting to grab at things and hold on...look out rumbi! i was thinking about how next easter she will be WALKING or possibly running around. wow, time goes by so fast.

the other day steve was holding her and she was starting to fuss. steve mimicked her cry and boy, did she get offended. she instantly stuck our her pouty little bottom lip and started to cry for reals. she has such tender feelings already and the poor girl has no idea the teasing daddy is capable of. :)

baby friends

us high school friendlies got together for a wonderful brunch {hosted by the lovely carole} and we lined up our chillins all in a row - oldest to youngest - jane, naomi, miles and benjamin.
we will force these babies to become best friends. or at least boyfriends and girlfriends.

3 months

3 months old and she cannot get enough of those hands.
she also enjoys watching tv, smiling and laughing, occasionally.
we love that she has finally found her voice but wish she wouldn't practice using it so much in the wee hours.

loving her more every second. seriously, how did we live without her before??

the beginning of a beautiful friendship

naomi is really starting to take notice of her furry little friend.and he's always got his eyes on those itty bitty socks.

rumbi truly is such a good dog. he never tries to get too close to the baby. he only just sniffs her for a second and then he's back in my lap. or sitting at my feet. or curled up on the opposite side of the boppy. it seems like he pretty much understands that "baby comes first" and even though he's not happy about it he has come to terms with it. but the second baby goes down for a nap or even just a diaper change rumbi seizes the moment, jumping into my temporarily vacant lap.
lucky for me, naomi will track him with her curious little eyes for a good amount of time now. well, at least long enough for me to eat breakfast with two hands.

i can't wait for them to become the best of friends!
